Nieuwe Noten

Inner
We bring these six works together not only in celebration of International Women’s Day, but in reflection of the fact that the work being created inside and outside Ireland today by women is some of the most explorative and diverse in new music.
Music: Rooney/Cleare/Mulvey/Shatin/Agócs/Musgrave
Wed 8th March 2023 @ 7.30pm

Pierrot Lunaire
This exciting project brings together three works celebrating poetry and music. We pay tribute to English composer Harrison Birtwistle who passed away in April 2022. Birtwistle is best known for his opera output, but this more intimate song cycle on texts by Rilke demonstrates his capacity to create truly beautiful chamber music.
Music: Birtwistle/Caffrey/Schoenberg
